Our own little train driving through the site. It costs nothing to try a trip. In low season it runs every Saturday at 11:00 and in high season it runs every day at. 12:00 am. and 4.00 pm.

Denmark’s oldest renaissance building, built between 1538 and 1550. Hesselagergård was intended as a defensive fortress.

Activities for children

Glorup estate in eastern Funen is a very well-preserved four-wing building complex, which dates back to 1580. HC Andersen lived for periods of Glorup, actually 24 times total and spent over a year as a guest on the estate.
There’s only public access to the park.
Naturama is a modern natural history museum, which focuses on Northern Europe’s wildlife. The animals are set up on a catwalk, so you can get close to the whale skeletons, bears, elk, wild boar, hundreds of birds and a giant polar bear.
Unleash your inner gorilla! In Gorillapark you can practice tree climbing in up to 16 meters. The climbing park has 1.2 kilometers obstacles on five courses of varying difficulty levels.
Our courses are built over Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale traveling companion. The course is nearly 1 km long, so there are also plenty of fresh air and some exercise to retrieve. Prices: Adult kr. 60, –

Lundeborg port is a charming old port with lots of life. If you are up for a trip on the water, it is possible to rent a kayak or a smack dinghy.
In and around Davinde Lake, it is possible to sail in canoes and baths. There is a beautiful area where fire places allow you to enjoy an outing with good food. Firewood can be purchased on site.
Sit in the old coaches, peek into the royal carriages, play driver in the impressive steam locomotives or try the popular mini train. A great destination for the whole family.
At the mini-golf course, you can gather the family for a competition on the pitch between the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. Prices: Adult kr. 30, –

Gudme pay and play
Do you want to try the forces on a golf course, Gudme Pay and Play site. The Club offers 9 holes and a 250 meter driving range by 21 decisive points. Clubs can be rented on site.
Funen fishing waters
Funen fishing waters, located just outside Odense, has a total of 55,000 square meters of water, where there are daily put fish out of up to 8kg. Fishing rod can be rented on site.
Odense Zoo offers everything lions, monkeys, tigers, penguins and much, much more. As the only place in Denmark you can also feed a giraffe at Odense Zoo. Dare you not feed the animals, it is also possible, for example. to see the piranhas being fed!
The Kalk grave
Going to the left of Bøsøre Beach Holiday Park and follow the road and then turn left again then you reach the Kalk grave. Here, it is possible to look for fossils, there may be several million years old.
Denmark’s largest exposed stone. The stone was transported to the site of the Ice Age, measures 46 meters in circumference!

Besides bowling they offer Laser Hero, The Go-Kart Track,
Minigolf and Happies Playland.
Come on a beautiful ride on the old railway line between Faaborg and Korinth. During the trip you can enjoy the beautiful landscape of Funen. The trip between Faaborg and Corinth takes about 30 minutes.

The house by the sea
Acting with surprising and stylish arts and crafts from South Africa to suit Scandinavian décor and taste.
After the restoration, the castle was opened to the public, and furniture from various manors inserted. The castle houses three full banqueting halls, each of which represents a critical era in the history of Denmark.
Go on tour with an old restored cattle barge. Smakkecenterets nature guide will take you out to a small island where the archipelago seals are often seen sunbathing. The tour starts from Strynø.
